Diocese of Chester selects Church Edit for their new website

Church Edit are pleased to launch the new website for the Diocese of Chester. The website design was developed in-house by the Church Edit team based on the Diocese of Chester's design requirements.

The new website has over 1,000 pages including a number of news articles that were imported from their previous website. With such a large site, the site has a number of drop down menus to help visitors find content quickly with many sections being updated by different staff within the Diocese.

The Diocese were also able to benefit from built in Church Edit features including the church locator which lists all the churches within the Diocese.

Stephen Freeman, Design and Communication Officer for the Diocese says "Working with Church Edit on the development of our new website has been a fruitful experience. The final design looks great and works well on computer monitors, tablets and phones. The Church Edit team are always happy to answer questions and guide us through the process. They delivered exactly what they promised, within budget and on time.  We are now using Church Edit to develop another website for our retreat centre."

Kyle Cottington, Managing Director of Church Edit says "It has been really good to work with another Diocese in developing their website. As we have been developing our Church Edit software since 2002, it means that many of the features which the Diocese of Chester required were already developed and ready to be used. It has been a real pleasure working with the Diocese and we look forward to partnering with them for many years to come.
