These are the latest updates added to all Church Edit sites during July 2010.

Calendar Categories

It is now possible to create different categories for your calendar events so that visitors can select what types of events they would like to see. 

Up to 30 different categories can be created and these can be for any purpose such as 'Youth Events'. If you have a group of churches using one website then can create a category for each church and allow visitors to filter the calendar for a particular church.

As well as categories, the Church Edit calendar has been updated so that each calendar entry can link to an external web address. The link will open in a new window so that your visitors don't leave your church website.

Other Updates

Notification of support requests (Church Edit Pro only) - when someone fills in a support request an email will be sent to the MAIN EMAIL to notify the site administrator

Photo sizes - the default width in the photo album has now been increased. 

Naming of calendar and audio - these features have always been named 'Calendar' and 'Audio', but this can now be renamed by going to SETTINGS > SITE FEATURES.
