These terms of service apply to the Church Edit website system which is provided as a product by Edit Websites Limited. By using Church Edit you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
Whilst we will make every effort to ensure the continuing availability of Church Edit websites, we cannot be liable for any downtime and loss of availability that may occur. If downtime does occur, we will make every effort to restore the service as soon as possible.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise arising out of or in connection with the provision of the Services shall be limited to the charges paid by you in respect of the Services which are the subject of any such claim.
Payment
At the start of your first Church Edit term, payment is required before the website is launched.
You will automatically be invoiced for Church Edit on a monthly/ annual basis (depending on what subscription you choose). You must inform Edit Websites Ltd by letter/email if you wish to cancel your Church Edit account otherwise you will be invoiced for another term. Payment terms for repeating subscriptions is strictly within 30 days of invoicing. If payment is not made by 30 days from date of invoice then Edit Websites Limited reserve the right to apply a £20 surcharge and temporary suspend the website until payment is received.
Termination
If at any time you decide to cancel the subscription to Church Edit, you may do so but will not receive a refund for any pre-paid months. You should inform Edit Websites Limited 1 month before your Church Edit website subscription is due for renewal if you no longer wish to use the Church Edit website. If you no longer require a web address then you must inform Edit Websites Limited 3 months before the web address is due to be renewed (.org/.com/.net domains are renewed each year, .org.uk/.co.uk are renewed every two years).
Domains
The domain remains the property of the registered church. As the registrar, Edit Websites Limited will be responsible for renewing the domain on your behalf when necessary.
Email
Email is provided by Church Edit. However, we have the right to withdraw this facility if email addresses hosted on our email server is used to send unsolicited email (commonly called spam). If you are found to be doing this then we have the right to terminate the email address with immediate affect.
Site Terms and Conditions
If you use Church Edit Pro then you must agree with the terms and conditions that will be displayed on your Church Edit site. These terms and conditions must be agreed by all users of the site and prevents both you and us from any liability that may occur from loss of availability or disclosure of information. The context ‘Service’ refers to the Church Edit Product.
The context 'We' and 'Us' refers to Edit Websites Limited of Central Boulevard, Blythe Valley Business Park, Solihull, B90 8AG.
The context 'You' refers to the organisation and its representatives that have an account with Created Media.
The context ‘Term’ refers to the time period that your website hosting is for
