Editor Update

November 2016

We have just updated the Church Edit Web Editor.

You may find that the first time you load it, no editor shows, some items don't display or some functions don't work correctly. This is caused because your browser is remembering some of the old script files and this is conflicting with the new script files.

To solve this just do the following:

On Windows: ctrl + F5
On Apple:  command + R

Your new editor should then load.

If you are using Google Chrome and the above option doesn't work, you will need to clear the cache in your browser.  To do this, click the 3 dots at the top right of the broswer.

In the menu that appears, click 'Settings' and a new tab will open.  At the bottom of the page, click 'Show Advanced Settings' and, in the 'Privacy' section, click the 'Clear Browsing Data' button.

Make sure that the drop down menu at the top of the pop up window is set to 'the beginning of time' and that only the options for 'Cookies and other site plugin data' and 'Cached images and files' are selected.  Once these settings are correct, click the 'Clear Browsing Data' button.  When the process is complete, the pop up window will disappear and you will be returned to the 'Settings'.  You can now return to Global Office, refresh your page and the editor should load normally.
