Edit Websites Ltd is the UK’s largest Christian Web Company having developed Church Edit and iKnow Church - software used by over 1,000 churches around the UK.

We’ve grown every year since 2002 and as we expand we are looking for new people to join the team as we work with more churches and organisations around the UK. This last year has been a real time of growth with 6 people joining the team over the last 6 months.

Job Description

We are looking for a Web Developer to join our team and help us to continue building great software for our clients.

If this is you and you are excited by building software solutions then your primary role will be joining the team developing our two main products which are custom built content management systems and our Church Member Management software.

The software is continually being developed so you will be joining the team that is adding new features and developing the products. You will also be involved in planning the future features to improve and enhance the product.  As part of a small development team you will be making changes to software that is used daily by people around the world.

You will also offer telephone/email support and answer queries from existing/potential customers.
This is an exciting position to work in a fast growing company and develop the software used by many clients around the UK. The software you help to create will be used by a wide audience.  

You also get to work in a great environment with a shiny new Apple Mac and a regular supply of Doughnuts || Bananas. 


Good programming skills

Ideal: Javascript, JQuery, CSS3, HTML5, PHP, MySQL, AJAX, JSON, The will to explore and experiment with new technologies.

Angular/Angular2, Typescript, Webpack, Ionic, RESTful APIs

Good testing methodology. Good communication skills (both written/ verbal), Ability to work in a team as well as by oneself
